EMILIO ISGRÒ - "INCANCELLABILE VITTORIA"

The 27th October 2020 in Brescia there will be the opening of the new monumental installation by Emilio Isgrò, "Incancellabile Vittoria", realized on the occasion of the coming back of Vittoria Alata  in Brescia after two years long restoration.

The artwork of approximately 200 square meters is composed of 205 panels based fibre-cement and it represents the Vittoria Alata oulined by the characteristic erasures of the famous Sicilian artist, applied over the lines of the Aeneid. It will be possible to admire this huge work of art on the northern wall of Brescia's FS Metro Station. The initiative is curated by Marco Bazzini and it has been promoted by Fondazione Brescia Musei and the Municipality of Brescia.
