New solo exhibition by Liu Bolin in Italy entitled Visible Invisible on view at MUDEC  Museum in Milan from May 15th until September 15th 2019.

On display over fifty artworks by the Chinese artist, including the unreleased photo of the Pietà Rondanini shot at Castello Sforzesco in Milan and the picture of Sala di Caravaggio – never exhibited before –  from Galleria Borghese of Rome. Among the artworks on display there is also the one realized ad hoc for the occasion, the artwork portrays Liu Bolin concealed between the artifacts belonging to the museum permanent collection. 

The solo show is divided into five sections ranging from different artistic projects by Liu Bolin, from the very first shots taken in China, to the series Hiding in Italy realized together with Boxart Gallery over more than ten years, to the cycle Migrants, where Liu Bolin involved the refugees hosted in some reception centres in Sicily.  On view also the painted clothes used for the realization of the shots and documentary video .
